en.Wedoany.com Reported - Russian Orion Telecom has completed the localized deployment of the enterprise communication platform eXpress, establishing a unified and secure digital communication environment for its internal employees. The platform has been in operation since 2025, currently covering approximately 200 employees, with plans to expand the license scale to 1,000 users and integrate applications such as email and calendar to form a unified enterprise digital office platform.
Prior to deploying eXpress, Russian Orion Telecom lacked a unified internal communication system, with daily employee communication, file transfers, and online meetings scattered across different tools. This deployment adopts a local server model, with the platform and enterprise data running on the company's internal infrastructure, reducing the transmission of business information through external public service platforms.
The Russian enterprise communication platform eXpress features built-in end-to-end encryption and has obtained a Level 4 trust certificate from the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of Russia, meeting data protection requirements related to critical information infrastructure. Since the platform went live, employees can search for contacts via the corporate directory and conduct personal chats, group communication, and file transfers within a unified system, eliminating the need to install multiple communication tools.
Currently, Russian Orion Telecom has activated two core modules: enterprise instant messaging and video conferencing. The video conferencing system supports up to 512 active participants and offers features such as screen sharing, meeting recording, and content transcription, suitable for internal meetings, remote collaboration, and cross-departmental business communication.
This deployment also reserves interfaces for Orion Telecom to expand the scale of its internal communication system in the future. The company plans to increase the number of eXpress licenses from the current 200 to 1,000, allowing more employees to access the unified communication platform. As the user count grows, the existing local servers, identity authentication, data storage, and meeting resources will also be scaled up accordingly.
In the next phase, Orion Telecom also plans to integrate email and calendar smart applications into the platform, consolidating instant messaging, video conferencing, email processing, and schedule management into a single digital workspace. Once expanded, employees can handle communication, meetings, and office tasks from a unified entry point, reducing the need to switch between different systems.
In terms of deployment content, this project is not merely a replacement of instant messaging software, but the construction of an enterprise internal communication infrastructure consisting of local servers, secure communication, video conferencing, and office applications. As the license scale expands to 1,000 users, eXpress will become the primary platform for digital office and business collaboration within Russian Orion Telecom.
