en.Wedoany.com Reported - On July 12, 2026, Advait Energy Transitions Ltd secured a turnkey contract worth INR 516.2 million (including taxes) from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (DGVCL) for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 kV 55 mm² AAAC medium-voltage insulated conductors and their accessories. The order was received on July 6, with the scope of supply including conductors, accessories, and additional poles where necessary, with PSC and RSJ poles provided by DGVCL and accessories by Advait Energy. The contract will be executed within DGVCL's jurisdiction under the Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana-2 scheme or other applicable schemes, and the order is not a related party transaction, with the entire turnkey project scheduled for completion within 15 months.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Advait Energy has also signed a battery energy storage procurement agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) for the development of a standalone battery energy storage system with a total capacity of 150 MW and 300 MWh. The subsidiary will develop, own, and operate this BESS project, located near the 220 kV Bhesan AIS substation of GETCO in Gujarat. The project was secured through a tariff-based competitive bidding process and will be supported by viability gap funding from the Power System Development Fund, as part of the contract framework awarded by GUVNL. The company stated that the order was awarded by a domestic entity, and neither the promoters nor promoter group companies hold any interest in the awarding entity.
Advait Energy Transitions Ltd's stock closed at INR 2,148.00 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), down INR 34.80, or 1.59%. The company stated it will coordinate with DGVCL to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe and ensure timely provision of poles and accessories.
