en.Wedoany.com Reported - Pacific Iron Manufacturing Limited's iron ore beneficiation plant in Niwari, Madhya Pradesh, commenced commercial production on July 10, 2026, producing low-phosphorus iron fines for sale to domestic steel mills in India. The product can be used in sintering and pellet production. The company is also constructing a 1.5 million tonnes per annum pellet plant at the same site, scheduled to start operations in January 2027. Upon completion, the Niwari facility will form a complete processing chain from iron ore beneficiation to pellet production.

Pacific Iron Manufacturing Limited, incorporated on May 12, 2011, and registered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is an active publicly listed company. The company focuses on vertically integrated operations from iron ore mining to steel manufacturing, and previously operated a 1.4 million tonnes per annum iron ore beneficiation plant.
According to the Indian Bureau of Mines, the company plans to develop the Dhaukan-Dhaurra-Urdaurra magnetite block in the Niwari area, with a mining plan approved in June 2024. The mining lease area covers 153.031 hectares, with geological iron ore resources of approximately 42.71 million tonnes at an average iron grade of 41.57%. The block contains three major banded iron formation mineralization zones, with drill core samples showing iron grades ranging from approximately 40% to 57%.
The completion of the Niwari complex will enable full local processing from iron ore mining and beneficiation to pellet production, enhancing ore value addition. The project's advancement helps meet the iron ore raw material demand of India's domestic steel industry while improving the mineral resource processing chain in the Madhya Pradesh region.
