en.Wedoany.com Reported - Silver Spruce Resources Inc. has announced for the first time that it has acquired full, direct, and perpetual ownership of all mineral rights comprising the Pino de Plata silver and base metals project. The project covers 397 hectares and is located in a highly mineralized strategic region of northern Mexico.
The company signed a final transfer agreement with the original rights holder on July 2, 2026. Through this new financial and legal arrangement, Silver Spruce has become the sole owner and exclusive operator of the four mining claims, and the time constraints on development, exploration, or subsequent sale previously attached under the 2025 agreement have now been removed. As the current Mexican government promotes legal certainty for strategic energy and mining projects, Silver Spruce has submitted the transfer contract to the Mexican Ministry of Mining (Secretaría de Minería de México) for formal registration.
Under the commercial terms, Silver Spruce paid the original rights holder an upfront payment of $10,000 and has committed to paying 10% of its total revenue from any future asset sale. The company plans to make payments of $15,000 in 2027 and 2028, followed by annual payments of $25,000 thereafter until the asset is disposed of. The agreement does not involve royalty payments or mandatory exploration expenditure requirements. Geographically, the Pino de Plata project is located in the western portion of the Sierra Madre Occidental volcanic complex, approximately 15 kilometers from the Palmarejo mine operated by Coeur Mining. The company has paid all taxes and property taxes through the second half of 2026 and is conducting on-site negotiations with landowners and legal advisors in Chihuahua and Hermosillo to finalize surface use agreements and initiate Phase 1 exploration drilling.
