en.Wedoany.com Reported - July 13, 2026, Indian solar EPC company Trom Industries has secured three orders totaling 42 MW from the South Bihar Power Distribution Company.

The project adopts the CAPEX plus RESCO utility-led aggregation model, involving 10 MW for 9,936 user installation points in the Aurangabad region, 15 MW for 13,290 user installation points in the Bhagalpur region, and 17 MW for 15,335 user installation points in the Bihar Sharif region. The work must be delivered within nine months after signing the power purchase agreement, with Trom Industries acting as the project contractor for installation and post-operation maintenance. Due to the PPA model, the company can generate recurring revenue from electricity generation during the agreement period.
Rooftop solar projects have gained sustained attention within the coverage of India's power distribution systems, driving Trom Industries to secure new orders and expand its business scale in the residential distributed generation sector. Trom Industries stated that it will execute the order in accordance with the rules of the government's rooftop solar program. This 42 MW rooftop solar project will be implemented in phases across different regions and, upon completion, will be connected to the local grid to provide power support to users. As India advances its renewable energy construction, such rooftop solar projects, as one application form, are gradually demonstrating their market potential, and Trom Industries' participation in this field is also expected to increase.
