en.Wedoany.com Reported - Enfinity Global has achieved 535 MW of operational solar capacity in Italy, demonstrating its ability to rapidly bring new power capacity online within three years to meet the country's growing electricity demand. The renewable energy company operates 18 solar photovoltaic plants in the Lazio and Emilia-Romagna regions of Italy, producing nearly 1 TWh of renewable energy annually and avoiding 290,904 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions each year. This clean electricity is roughly equivalent to the annual consumption of approximately 350,000 households.

Alessandro Ceschiat, Country Manager of Enfinity Global Italy, stated that reaching 535 MW of installed capacity demonstrates the company's ability to build energy infrastructure for Italy, creating value, direct employment opportunities, and local economic benefits. Each megawatt brought online helps strengthen Italy's energy security, support the competitiveness of the production system, and achieve decarbonization goals. Maria Diez, European Operations Manager of Enfinity Global, noted that this success is attributed to the commitment of employees in Italy and Europe, as well as collaboration with industrial, financial, and institutional partners. Teamwork continues to transform ambitious projects into operational assets serving the Italian energy system.
According to Elemens data, Enfinity is currently the second-largest licensed solar operator in Italy, having surpassed the 1 GW threshold. The company is also strengthening its presence in the energy storage sector, with approximately 600 MW of licensed battery energy storage systems (BESS). These figures are part of its global portfolio of 9.1 GW. The growth of the Italian portfolio relies on deep expertise in capital structure and project financing, with the company attracting over €1 billion in investment for this portfolio.
