en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 4, Skye Renewables completed and officially commissioned a 1.7MWp rooftop solar system at Marquee Mall in the Philippines. Marquee Mall is owned by Philippine real estate company Ayala Land, and the project will directly supply renewable electricity to the mall upon operation. Skye Renewables has added this project to its rooftop solar portfolio for commercial and industrial customers in the Philippines.

Skye Renewables primarily develops distributed solar, utility-scale renewable energy, and energy storage projects for corporate clients in Southeast Asia, and currently operates assets in the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. In the Philippines, the company has developed or supplied renewable energy projects for corporations including Ayala Land, Ortigas Land, Robinsons Land, Honda, and Decathlon, with the Marquee Mall project being part of its commercial real estate collaboration with Ayala Land.

Skye Renewables has currently completed or operates more than 50 solar projects in Southeast Asia. Its corporate clients typically procure renewable electricity through long-term power purchase agreements, with Skye responsible for investing in, building, owning, operating, and optimizing the projects, under contract terms generally ranging from 15 to 30 years.

In December 2025, Skye Renewables Philippines obtained a retail electricity supplier license from the Philippine Energy Regulatory Commission, valid from December 16, 2025, to December 15, 2030, enabling the company to directly sell, market, and consolidate electricity to eligible large commercial and industrial customers. The company subsequently continued to expand its renewable energy project pipeline for corporate clients in the Philippines, with the 1.7MWp Marquee Mall rooftop solar system now having been commissioned.
