en.Wedoany.com Reported - Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inaugurated the TCS Autonomous Engineering Lab (Powered by NVIDIA) at its Global Axis campus in Bengaluru. Serving as a physical AI hub, the facility leverages NVIDIA AI infrastructure to accelerate the development and real-world deployment of AI-driven solutions in mobility and manufacturing.

As the first of its kind, this lab will help enterprises move from pilot phases to production-scale deployment for designing, testing, and validating industrial AI solutions. It will enable clients to leverage TCS's domain expertise and accelerators to rapidly prototype and simulate use cases across multiple industries before deploying solutions in real-world mobility, manufacturing, and industrial operations.

Sreenivasa Chakravarti, Global Head and Vice President of Industrial Autonomy & Engineering at TCS, stated: "Bengaluru has long been the engine of India's economy, and this lab harnesses that energy to reimagine what's possible with AI. By combining NVIDIA's powerful AI platform with TCS's industrial autonomy and engineering capabilities, we are creating a space where ideas move quickly from concept to tangible impact, shaping the future of mobility and industrial systems. As we enter the next phase and deepen our collaboration, we will build on this foundation with confidence and speed to enable scaled deployments and enterprise-level transformation for more clients."

Alvin DaCosta, Vice President of AI Consulting Partner Organization at NVIDIA, said: "As enterprises drive AI adoption in physical operations, they need specialized infrastructure to bridge the gap between simulation and real-world deployment. Through this collaboration, the TCS Industrial Autonomy & Engineering Lab leverages the full NVIDIA AI platform to provide clients with a scalable path for validating and implementing their next-generation industrial solutions."

The lab will support enterprises in reimagining products, operations, and business models by embedding intelligence throughout the engineering and manufacturing lifecycle. Leveraging TCS's Industrial Autonomy & Engineering (IA&E) capabilities, clients will be able to integrate AI into products, factories, and operational systems to achieve intelligent, software-defined, and autonomous enterprises.

The lab offers a comprehensive suite of solutions across mobility and industrial domains, including: TCS DriveSphere™, a connected, AI-driven mobility platform enabling software-defined vehicles through digital twins, real-time data ingestion, predictive analytics, and over-the-air lifecycle management; AI-driven mobility and autonomous systems solutions built on the full NVIDIA AI infrastructure, enabling advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving capabilities, perception systems, and intelligent decision-making; physical AI and smart manufacturing use cases embedding AI into machines, factories, and industrial systems for predictive maintenance, automated quality inspection, and real-time process optimization; agentic AI and vision AI solutions, advanced AI systems capable of making contextual decisions in engineering, manufacturing, and service operations to achieve higher levels of autonomy; and digital twin and simulation environments, high-fidelity simulations powered by NVIDIA technology and supported by industrial autonomy blueprints for vehicles, factories, and operations, accelerating design validation, scenario testing, and lifecycle optimization.

The lab will also help teams move faster from ideas to execution through rapid prototyping and validation. It provides a controlled environment for testing solutions before launch, reducing deployment risks and shortening time-to-market. Through this lab, enterprises will also gain access to the NVIDIA ecosystem and computing power.

This initiative builds on the long-standing collaboration between TCS and NVIDIA in AI, accelerated computing, and industry-specific solutions. The new lab marks a significant expansion of this partnership, moving from technology integration toward deeper capability building, customer engagement, and solution development.
