en.Wedoany.com Reported - Auto parts distributor Carville (Карвиль) launched a logistics and production complex in the village of Krasny Bor, Leningrad Oblast, on July 16, with a total project investment of approximately 4.8 billion rubles. The complex covers 60,000 square meters, housing the company's warehouse equipped with an auxiliary address-based automated sorting system, and will also feature assembly lines for components such as starters and alternators.
Carville revealed that the logistics and production complex serves not only as a storage center but also undertakes the assembly of starters, alternators, cooling fans, and their control units. The entire project is expected to create over 500 jobs, helping to enhance the company's supply chain responsiveness in the Northwestern region. The company's Commercial Director, Pyotr Nechiporenko, stated: "This logistics and production complex project is a key milestone in the company's development, aimed at establishing a parts production base for the automotive industry cluster in St. Petersburg and across Russia. It is also crucial due to the continuous expansion of product lines and the introduction of new product categories."
Carville specializes in the research, development, production, and sale of automotive parts and accessories, owning brands such as Luzar, Trialli, Startvolt, Airline, and Carville Racing. The commissioning of this logistics and production complex is expected to serve as a significant support for the company's continued capacity expansion in the Russian automotive aftermarket.
