The facility employs a production technology unique within the group, used to manufacture higher value-added natural ingredients, thereby strengthening the country's manufacturing capabilities in strategic economic and export sectors.

The German multinational has inaugurated a new production plant utilizing the latest technology; the project will boost natural ingredient manufacturing and strengthen exports to North America, Europe, and Asia.

According to the company, the production technology used in the new facility is currently not present in any other Döhler plant worldwide. This technology enables the plant to produce higher value-added natural ingredients to meet the growing demands of the global food industry. Döhler operates in over 160 countries, primarily supplying specialized ingredients, concentrates, and natural solutions to food and beverage manufacturers, with major exports to the United States and Germany, as well as markets in Central America, the Caribbean, and Asia.

At the inauguration ceremony, Paul Graha, CEO of Döhler Americas, stated that the project reflects the company's confidence in Mexico's industrial potential and noted that the plant has already created over 200 jobs since construction began.

The launch of this facility further invigorates the food industry in the State of Mexico. According to data from the state's Ministry of Economic Development, the region hosts over 31,000 food manufacturing economic units, employing more than 146,000 people, making it one of Mexico's primary manufacturing hubs. In terms of investment, between September 2023 and May 2026, domestic companies invested 8.172 billion pesos in new projects, while foreign companies invested over $2 billion, driving capacity expansion and the development of new manufacturing operations.

Driven by growing demand for processed foods, functional beverages, and natural ingredients, Döhler's entry strengthens this increasingly important industry. The new plant not only expands the industrial capacity of the State of Mexico but will also increase the production of specialized ingredients for markets in North America, Europe, and Asia. In these segments, Mexico has already consolidated its position as a strategic production platform, serving both the domestic market and international supply chains.

Founded in Germany, Döhler operates in over 160 countries, focusing on the development, production, and sale of natural ingredients, ingredient systems, and integrated solutions for the food and beverage industry. Its product portfolio serves manufacturers of beverages, food, dairy products, nutrition products, and confectionery.
