en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Peruvian Exporters Association (Adex) expects the country's foreign exports to exceed $107 billion by the end of 2036, driving economic development across various regions.

Adex President César Tello stated that exports surpassed $90 billion in 2025, and are projected to exceed $107 billion this year, closing with a 20% growth rate, thereby activating regional economies. Tello believes that international markets now value not only the type of exported products but also the production methods, necessitating enhanced innovation, sustainability, traceability, and value creation throughout the entire production chain.
The Adex President pointed out that trade integration must advance in tandem with global value chains, and the Pacific Alliance has the opportunity to consolidate its position as a regional production platform to supply the U.S. market. The organization's head proposed launching a national agenda to unite national efforts in strengthening public security, mitigating risks from the El Niño phenomenon, simplifying and modernizing state institutions, narrowing the logistics infrastructure gap, improving human capital quality, and accelerating economic formalization.
Tello Ramírez proposed establishing a "tax scholarship," allowing companies to allocate a portion of their income tax to fund scholarships for higher education, technical training, and professional development. This program would operate transparently under state supervision and be results-oriented. Additionally, he suggested reviewing and eliminating four national holidays added in recent years to facilitate production commitments and provide greater predictability for economic activities. Tello stated that these dates could be preserved through educational commemorative events.
