On July 17, smart glasses company Rokid officially unveiled YodaOS globally at the West Bund International Convention and Exhibition Center—the world's first native AI operating system designed specifically for smart glasses. Rokid also showcased its next-generation AR spatial computing device, marking the global exhibition debut of both core products.
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Hangzhou, China, Rokid is a technology company focused on AI and AR smart glasses development. According to data from market research firm Omdia, Rokid's global market share for AI glasses reached 3.9% in 2025, ranking second globally across all categories and first among Chinese brands. The launch of YodaOS signifies that the smart glasses industry has officially entered a new phase driven by native AI operating systems.
According to Rokid, YodaOS has been completely redesigned from the system architecture level to fit the glasses form factor, establishing a four-layer progressive architecture: the first layer is an ultra-fast interaction interface, relying on a two-character wake word and a 0.2-second rapid response; the second layer is a multi-dimensional perception layer, achieving all-day persistent perception through dual chip dual-system independent operation and edge-cloud collaborative computing power splitting; the third layer is an intelligent capability layer, integrating multi-dimensional contextual information such as user memory, knowledge graphs, and skill tools; the fourth layer is a scenario application layer, which has completed 20 OTA upgrades and cumulatively updated 500 features since product launch.
In terms of interaction experience, YodaOS replaces traditional single-text output with graphical immersive interaction, making it the world's first AI operating system to support AIUI. Based on YodaOS, the Rokid AI Assistant 2.0 has simultaneously achieved proactive intelligence upgrades, transitioning from passive responses to proactive services, with new features such as automatic itinerary recording and scheduled proactive reminders. Thanks to the optimized underlying interaction, the response time of Rokid AI glasses is as low as 0.2 seconds.

The concurrently unveiled Rokid AR glasses are equipped with spatial cameras and AI cameras, supporting full 6DoF spatial positioning, a 58° ultra-wide field of view, and a 5-microphone array. The computing unit is powered by the Snapdragon Ultimate Spatial Computing Platform (3nm process technology), compatible with on-device large models and Unreal Engine 5. Leveraging the native YodaOS system, Rokid AI glasses demonstrated mature solutions for three major scenarios—consumer, cultural tourism, and industrial—at WAIC. Currently, the Rokid Agent Store has listed over 440 agents, with the platform accumulating more than 33,000 registered developers.
