Samsung Electronics Announces Supply of 1,000 Air Conditioners to 100 Mosques in Saudi Arabia

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Samsung Electronics announced on July 19 that it will supply 1,000 ceiling-type system air conditioners to 100 mosques in eight major cities in Saudi Arabia. The product being supplied is the "360 Cassette," the world's first air conditioner with a circular design, which, unlike traditional square products, provides uniform cooling throughout the entire space.

The 360 Cassette utilizes patented "Booster Fan" technology to deliver cool air widely in a horizontal direction. This design enables even distribution of cool air even in mosques with high ceilings and open structures. The ceiling-mounted installation maximizes floor space utilization, while the low-noise design creates a quiet environment suitable for prayer.

The outdoor unit is specially designed for Saudi Arabia's high-temperature climate, providing stable cooling performance even in environments where external temperatures exceed 50°C. The product panel features a dedicated design reflecting traditional Islamic patterns to ensure harmony with the interior space of the mosque.

In June, Samsung Electronics signed a business agreement with local partner "Gorus Charity (tentative translation)," which is promoting mosque renovation projects, to expand supply cooperation for mosques in Saudi Arabia.

In the Middle East, Samsung Electronics last year supplied system air conditioners to public transportation facilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and provided a building integrated solution to "Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai," a private school in Dubai, UAE.
