The project team invited responsible experts, industry specialists, and user representatives to witness the test on site, and the interruption results were confirmed as valid by the expert group.

This 260 kA generator circuit breaker prototype is the final outcome of Sub-topic 5—Circuit Breaker Prototype Integrated Design and Test Technology—under the key national R&D project "Key Technologies for High-Voltage Large-Capacity Generator Fast Circuit Breakers." The R&D team, after years of technical breakthroughs, overcame core challenges such as high-current interruption. During the witnessing meeting, the expert group listened to product and test introductions, reviewed relevant technical materials, and then inspected the effectiveness of test measurement equipment and the integrity of the test system on site. Together with project team members, they witnessed the entire full-capacity interruption process. The expert group confirmed that the interruption results were valid.

The success of this full-capacity interruption test for the 260 kA generator circuit breaker prototype marks that the product possesses fully independent intellectual property rights, filling a gap in this technical field in China.
