Amrize has signed an agreement to acquire Rapid Redi-Mix LLC, a move that will expand its ready-mix concrete operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and enhance its integrated building materials network in Texas. Rapid Redi-Mix operates concrete batch plants and a fleet of mixer trucks, assets that will complement Amrize's existing aggregates and cement operations in the region. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

This acquisition is part of Amrize's recent expansion in Texas. It follows the company's announcement to increase production at its Midlothian cement plant and an agreement to acquire PB Materials, an aggregates producer in West Texas.

Jaime Hill, President of Amrize Building Materials, stated that this acquisition will solidify the company's position in one of the fastest-growing construction markets in the U.S. "We are very excited to make this highly synergistic acquisition in the growing Dallas-Fort Worth market," he said. "Rapid Redi-Mix is an excellent entrepreneurial company that complements our strong aggregates and cement operations in the region. We look forward to welcoming their 100 talented team members to the Amrize family."

Gabe Salmons, Founder and CEO of Rapid Redi-Mix, said joining Amrize will support the company's next phase of growth. "We are proud to join the Amrize family and leverage Amrize's scale, leading cement and aggregates operations, and efficient distribution network to accelerate our next growth chapter," he said. "We are excited to join a high-performance team that shares our commitment to being the preferred partner for our customers."
