The event features WIDIA brand ambassador Carey Hart and aims to present the real-world operations of a modern machine shop in a collaborative and interactive format. The "Next Level Shop" is an upgraded version built upon the previous "Metal Mania" event.

Dave Bersaglini, Vice President and President of Metal Cutting at Kennametal, stated that the company's design is always centered around customer needs. Manufacturers require not just excellent cutting tools, but integrated solutions that enable smarter machining, solve complex challenges, and boost productivity. The "Next Level Shop" serves as a platform bringing together these technologies, partnerships, and conversations.

A highlight of the event is the live custom machining of an Indian Sport Chief motorcycle on a five-axis CNC machine, using WIDIA tools by Carey Hart and Satya Kraus, CEO of KRAUS MOTO. The motorcycle will receive a custom paint job by Taylor Schultz and will ultimately be given away to an IMTS attendee.

In the "Next Level Shop" exhibit area, Kennametal will host continuous live machining demonstrations, showcasing the latest tool innovations across various machining processes, as well as advanced additive manufacturing and digital manufacturing solutions. The project was designed in collaboration with EWI Worldwide. Don Kuhn, Client Director at EWI Worldwide, stated that the goal of the design was to make the booth feel like stepping into a future workshop, where every detail is intended to encourage exploration, spark conversation, and demonstrate how innovation becomes reality when technology, process, and collaboration come together.
