Gao Hongbin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CISRI, and Shen Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shagang Group, jointly witnessed the signing and held working talks. Leaders including Gong Sheng, Executive Director and President of Shagang Group, attended the event. Zhao Dongliang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of CISRI, and Chen Shaohui, Executive Director, Co-President, Chief Engineer of Shagang Group, and Chairman of Shagang Steel, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Gao Hongbin congratulated Shagang Group on its achievements in recent years and expressed gratitude for its long-term support to CISRI. He noted that Shagang Group, as a large-scale private steel enterprise in China, possesses rich industrial scenarios, strong industrialization capabilities, and flexible institutional advantages. The two sides have a long history of cooperation, a solid foundation, and fruitful results. As China's steel industry is currently in a critical period of transformation and upgrading towards high-end varieties, green processes, intelligent workflows, and digital production, CISRI will take this signing as a new starting point to carry out multi-dimensional and comprehensive cooperation with Shagang Group in areas such as establishing long-term communication mechanisms, strengthening mutual market collaboration, jointly building high-level innovation platforms, and co-cultivating high-level talents.

Shen Bin welcomed Gao Hongbin and his delegation. He pointed out that CISRI, as the largest comprehensive R&D and high-tech industrialization institution in China's metallurgical industry, has been deeply engaged in the R&D and industrialization of fundamental common and key core technologies in the steel sector, making significant contributions to advancing the development of the steel industry and supporting major national projects.
