en.Wedoany.com Reported - NGEx Minerals has reported the latest drilling results from the Lunahuasi project in San Juan Province, Argentina. Hole DPDH034 intersected 20.50 meters at a copper equivalent grade (CuEq) of 17.83%, including a 13.50-meter interval at 11.36% CuEq. These high-grade copper, gold, and silver mineralized associations continue to repeat consistently across different zones of the deposit.

The drilling penetrated an extensive sulfide mineralized system hosted in breccias and vein structures, confirming the continuity of the high-grade zones identified in previous drilling seasons. The company believes the new results continue to indicate that Lunahuasi hosts a large-scale mineralized system with significant depth continuity. Each new drill hole provides a basis for improving geological understanding and expands the potential of future mineralized zones.

The exploration program is currently focused on defining the system's geometry and assessing its extension at depth and laterally. Multiple drill rigs remain active at the project site, while work advances for the 2026 exploration season. The company will continue to report drill results as laboratory analyses are completed, to further evaluate the deposit's potential.

Lunahuasi is part of NGEx Minerals' asset portfolio in San Juan Province. The region hosts globally significant copper projects including Vicuña, Los Azules, El Pachón, and Altar. The project has attracted attention within the industry due to the combination of high grades and the potential scale of the mineralized system. The company noted that existing results support the continuation of exploration efforts and reinforce the hypothesis that Lunahuasi could become an internationally significant deposit, although the project remains at an advanced exploration stage and has not yet received an official resource estimate.
