en.Wedoany.com Reported - Accurate Industrial Controls, a marine autonomy technology company headquartered in Pune, India, has launched a newly built 13-meter patrol boat equipped with its proprietary Intelligent Situational Awareness and Collision Avoidance (ISACA) technology stack.

The patrol boat was built by SHM Shipyard Limited in Mumbai. The ISACA technology stack completed sea trials in the Arabian Sea near Karwar, India, and has received certification from the Indian Register of Shipping.
Dharmesh Popatlal Gala, Director of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Accurate Industrial Controls, stated that the ISACA system integrates radar, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), echo sounders, closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance, and a complete collision avoidance technology stack. It has received IRS AUTN 4-R(N) certification and meets the International Maritime Organization's International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) requirements.
Following the successful trials, Accurate Industrial Controls has begun accepting orders and expressions of interest for new-build and retrofit vessels equipped with ISACA for both commercial and naval markets. Gala revealed that the company has spent over three decades in automation for the steel, automotive, and aerospace sectors, and identified opportunities to expand into the maritime domain about five years ago through collaboration with the Indian Army. The company has since received inquiries from the Navy, Coast Guard, as well as ports, harbors, and offshore markets, with its collision avoidance software and autonomous navigation solutions showing growth potential across Europe, the Middle East, and India.
Gala noted that India has historically achieved technological innovation at lower costs in the space sector, and this experience applies equally to maritime equipment. The company aims to reduce the deployment cost of autonomous navigation solutions through the ISACA system without compromising safety or performance. Compared to traditional patrol boats, vessels equipped with ISACA do not require continuously manned crews, enabling 24/7 surveillance and sustained situational awareness at lower operational costs—a critical advantage amid evolving naval threat profiles and the changing nature of warfare.
Accurate Industrial Controls has also built a 5-meter autonomous search and rescue boat equipped with the full ISACA technology stack and is now marketing it to the patrol boat sector. According to the company, the ISACA platform is directly compatible with Mercury, Cox, and any CAN/MODBUS-based propulsion systems, and can also integrate non-digital propulsion systems with appropriate actuators, thereby enabling autonomous steering and propulsion control across a wide range of vessels.
