en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Ministry of Ecology and Renewable Natural Resources of Misiones (Ministerio de Ecología y Recursos Naturales Renovables de Misiones) has granted final environmental feasibility approval to the Aristóbulo del Valle 2 Photovoltaic Solar Park (Parque Solar Fotovoltaico Aristóbulo del Valle 2) project, developed by Aristóbulo Solar FV.
The approval was formalized through Resolution No. 262/2026, published in the provincial official gazette on August 4, based on Final Technical Report No. 22/2026 issued by the Technical Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment (Comisión Técnica de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental).
The plant will be installed on a 25-hectare rural plot in the municipality of Aristóbulo del Valle, with a design service life of 20 years. The project will deploy 18,018 solar panels, with a peak power of 11.8 MWp and a rated capacity of 10 MW.
Electricity will be transmitted via a 33 kV connection line to the Aristóbulo del Valle Substation (Estación Transformadora Aristóbulo del Valle), integrating into the provincial interconnected system. According to the environmental documentation, the plant will strengthen power supply in the Aristóbulo del Valle and Salto Encantado areas of central Misiones.
The resolution requires the company to implement an Environmental Management Plan and an Emergency Plan, submit annual follow-up reports, and restore surface areas affected during construction. The project prohibits the introduction of exotic forest species, and protective shelterbelts must be planted using native species. Additionally, buffer zones must be established to protect adjacent native forests, and any alteration of watercourses, wetlands, and water sources is prohibited. Any modification to the project must be reported in advance, and compliance with provincial burning regulations and the mandatory environmental insurance system is required.
The project originates from the PSFV Aristóbulo proposal submitted by Windearth Patagonia under the RenMDI tender of the Argentine Energy Secretariat (Secretaría de Energía de Argentina), with the initial plan estimating an installed capacity of 9.92 MW and registration in the National Registry of Renewable Energy Projects (Registro Nacional de Proyectos de Energías Renovables) completed in the third quarter of 2023.
Windearth Patagonia submitted a bid of USD 84.97/MWh. The RenMDI tender established a power supply contract with Cammesa, with a 15-year term starting from commercial operation, priced in USD/MWh. Aristóbulo Solar FV was established by Windearth Patagonia in May 2024, which holds a 95% stake, with Cale Group Holding holding the remaining 5%. The company is positioned for the construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of renewable power generation facilities.
