en.Wedoany.com Reported - Yorkshire Water has launched initial market engagement for infrastructure works planned across the AMP9 and AMP10 investment periods. The programme could be worth around £3.3 billion across the two five-year regulatory periods, although the company has not confirmed the total procurement value.

The company said the programme will cover infrastructure across its water and wastewater networks. The scope of works could include complex strategic infrastructure projects, as well as customer-focused distribution and network activities. Yorkshire Water is seeking information from suppliers on their capabilities, capacity and technical expertise, as well as their intention to work with the company.

The survey will also examine potential delivery and lot structures, commercial arrangements, incentives, and opportunities for collaboration, innovation and efficiency gains. Procurement consultancy Efficio has been commissioned to carry out the survey and support subsequent market engagement.

Yorkshire Water said supplier feedback will be treated confidentially and anonymised where appropriate. This initial market engagement is non-binding, will not form part of any future supplier selection or tender evaluation, and feedback will not place any obligation on the company to commence a procurement process.

The company may arrange one-to-one meetings or workshops after reviewing submissions. Suppliers are required to complete the survey by 12 August 2026.
