en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 6, Envision Group (hereinafter referred to as "Envision") announced the completion of the world's largest AI computing super monolith in Ulanqab, marking the official commissioning of the Envision Ulanqab Galaxy Base. The super monolith utilizes an ultra-high proportion of direct green power connections, and with a building area of 120,000 square meters (equivalent to about 20 standard football fields), million-card parallel computing capability, and million-P computing power scale, it has become the world's single AI data center with the strongest Token output capacity, setting a new record for AI infrastructure density.
The Envision Ulanqab Galaxy Base is a super computing hub built by Envision in the Gobi Desert. The park has a total planned capacity exceeding 2GW and will become the largest AI computing park and Token factory in China. As the first flagship project under the "Gobi Mission," the base precisely meets the domestic demand for million-card interconnection, creating a replicable Chinese solution for domestic computing power clusters.
"Super Monolith" Sets New Global AI Data Center Record
Currently, China's AI computing power is rapidly advancing toward 100,000-card and even million-card interconnection to compete with global computing power giants. The Envision Ulanqab Galaxy Base uses a super monolith to carry a million-P computing power scale, bringing one million cards together within a single monolith, enhancing the global competitiveness of Chinese chips through the cluster's total computing power.
However, a super monolith is not simply a matter of having a "big enough building." Supporting the operation of one million cards requires a super AI power system. As the saying goes, "Supplies must be prepared before troops set out." A super monolith requires not only sufficient power supply but also stable and efficient power transmission and energy storage systems. Envision's AI power system can create a dedicated "energy highway" and "power granary" for the super monolith. As a result, the computing output scale of the Envision Ulanqab Galaxy Base can reach 10 times that of traditional data centers of the same area, and in the future, it will set new global records with ultra-high computing power density.

But the "ammunition" for computing clusters is not limited to electricity. Clusters of 100,000 or even one million cards are extremely sensitive to network latency, and any slight delay will be exponentially amplified by the system. Ulanqab is one of the eight national nodes of the "East Data, West Computing" project, offering exceptional network latency advantages that can efficiently carry real-time online computing demands. At the same time, the region boasts nationally leading wind and solar resources, with green power accounting for as much as 67% of total electricity. The "Envision Galaxy Base" fully leverages the local wind energy advantages, achieving direct green power supply through self-built wind farms and dedicated lines, building a solid green energy foundation for the world's largest AI super monolith with the highest green power ratio.
Zheng Zihao, General Manager of Envision Group's AIDC (Artificial Intelligence Data Center), stated: "Chinese chips are taking a path of cluster-based breakthrough. Envision's super monolith can provide the strongest support for this 'combined force': a large enough deployment base, ample power supplies, and unobstructed energy supply lines. The 'Envision Galaxy Base' is using a super monolith to carry the large-scale deployment of domestic computing clusters, providing the strongest boost for China's computing power explosion."
Super Monolith + AI Power System,
A Chinese Approach to Global Computing Infrastructure Development
Based on the multiple needs of domestic chips for larger deployment spaces, higher interconnection efficiency, and stable green power, the "Envision Galaxy Base" adopts the hardcore combination of "Super Monolith + AI Power System" to provide a tailor-made environment for domestic computing clusters. This solution not only addresses the current computing power bottlenecks in the domestic market but also paves the way for China's AI computing infrastructure to go global.

Public information shows that in June 2026, Envision officially launched the "Gobi Mission" at the VivaTech technology summit in France, with the goal of building 5GW of green AI computing centers in Gobi desert regions worldwide by 2030. As the first step of the "Gobi Mission," the Envision Ulanqab Galaxy Base is becoming a model for Chinese AI computing centers going global.
Zheng Zihao told reporters that the "Envision Galaxy Base" is primarily oriented toward the urgent needs of leading technology and AI companies for large-scale use of domestic computing power, and is committed to creating a Chinese solution of "new energy + AI computing infrastructure" tailored for China's computing power. "Looking ahead, we will bring replicable Chinese AI data center solutions to regions around the world facing urgent computing power demands, weak energy infrastructure, and scarce power resources."
