Sweden's Vattenfall tenders ROV and seabed survey services for European offshore wind, valued at €8 million

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Swedish energy company Vattenfall has launched a tender to find contractors for its offshore wind assets in Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the UK, providing remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspection and seabed survey services from 2027 onwards.

According to a contract notice published on August 4, Vattenfall plans to sign two framework agreements through a competitive negotiation procedure: one for ROV inspection and one for multibeam echo sounder (MBES) seabed surveys. Upon completion of the tender, up to five suppliers will be appointed for the ROV inspection lot, and up to seven suppliers for the seabed survey lot.

The estimated value of the tender is €8 million. Interested companies must submit their participation requests by September 9, 2026.

The initial contract term is two years, with an option to extend twice, each time for one year. According to the procurement schedule, the framework agreements are expected to be signed by the end of May 2027, with services commencing from June 2027. Vattenfall stated that detailed technical requirements will be provided to bidders during the tender process.
