en.Wedoany.com Reported - Solar Landscape, a US distributed energy infrastructure company, has entered into a development financing arrangement of up to $150 million with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) through its Green Credit Fund II (CI GCF II), aimed at accelerating the development of its solar project pipeline.

The financing will support an initial portfolio of approximately 250 MWdc of mid-to-late-stage solar assets. Solar Landscape plans to allocate the funds toward equipment procurement, grid interconnection, power purchase agreement execution, and sponsor development services in earlier stages of the project cycle, advancing early-stage projects into construction and bringing new generation capacity online more quickly.

This financing complements several recent investment and financing arrangements by the company, including a $600 million senior debt facility, a $125 million revolving credit facility, and a $117 million preferred equity investment. Over the past three years, these capital operations have raised Solar Landscape's total capital to over $2.2 billion.

Solar Landscape Chief Financial Officer Clayton Avent stated that the revolving development capital provided by CIP has increased the throughput of the company's development platform, enabling it to advance projects more efficiently and bring new distributed energy infrastructure online faster. He also noted that this investment reflects the confidence of mature institutional investors in the company's structured financing, execution capabilities, and long-term growth strategy.

This investment marks the fourth investment by CI GCF II. The fund completed its initial fundraising of €1.3 billion ($1.5 billion) in March 2026. Solar Landscape stated that the new capital will support its efforts to help utility companies, property owners, and communities bring new renewable energy generation online at a faster pace.
