GRS announces agreement with Acciona Energía to build the 235 MWp Fleming solar plant in the United States

Zelestra (formerly Solarpack) has brought its three solar plants—Brazatortas I, II, and IV—in Castilla-La Mancha into full commercial operation on schedule, with a combined capacity of 57 MWac, developed by Zelestra's in-house engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) team. These plants will supply approximately 130 GWh of renewable electricity annually to Tesla under power purchase agreements (PPAs). The two parties have also signed a new 140 MWac PPA for the Lumen Farm solar project in Texas, United States.

Zelestra holds a portfolio of 6.8 GW of solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and wind projects in Spain, of which 1.2 GW is under contract. Spain is one of Zelestra's four strategic growth markets, alongside the United States, Germany, and Italy.

GRS, the solar EPC construction company under the Gransolar Group, has reached an agreement with Acciona Energía to build the Fleming Solar Farm photovoltaic plant in the United States, with an installed capacity of 235 MWp. GRS Engineering will handle the engineering design, while PV Hardware will supply and install the next-generation solar tracker AxoneDuo Infinity at the plant.

Heelstone Renewable Energy, a U.S. company under Qualitas Energy, has announced the acquisition of the Cypress Pointe Solar project, a photovoltaic development in Sabine County, Texas, United States, with an expected capacity of approximately 188 MWp, within the Southwest Power Pool market, purchased from Azimuth Renewables. Electricity demand in the region is expected to grow significantly, and the project has full control of the land required for development, with commercial operation (COD) expected to commence in 2029.
