Company management, employees, sales channel partners, and local guests attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new facility.
The new facility covers an area of 1,230 square meters and will primarily produce solder paste, flux-cored wire, and wave soldering flux. The first products to be manufactured include the Indium8.9HF and Indium10.8HF series solder pastes. Once the facility reaches full capacity, monthly solder paste production is expected to be 18 to 20 metric tons, with products to be supplied to the Americas and other international markets.
In addition to production and operations departments, the Guadalajara facility will also house customer service and technical support teams. The company stated that the new facility adopts advanced manufacturing and quality management systems, which can shorten new product introduction cycles, improve production consistency, and strengthen delivery, technical support, and product customization capabilities for local customers.
This project represents the first phase of Indium Corporation's long-term manufacturing investment in Mexico. The company plans to continue expanding production capacity at the site based on market demand, serving application areas such as artificial intelligence, automotive, electric vehicles, robotics, medical technology, energy storage, and advanced semiconductor packaging. The commissioning of the new facility also further improves the company's electronic assembly materials production and supply network in the Americas.
