Krylon Launches 16 Harmony Water-Based Spray Paints, Available in the U.S. in August

This new series is an added general-purpose water-based spray paint product line, comprising 16 SKUs and offering three finishes: gloss, satin, and matte.

Harmony features a non-flammable water-based formula and can be used on surfaces such as metal, wood, glass, ceramic, concrete, wicker, and most plastics. Tools and residue after application can be cleaned with soapy water. Krylon states that, compared with traditional solvent-based spray paints, the new product offers lower odor and less overspray, and has earned GREENGUARD Gold certification for low chemical emissions; adequate ventilation is still required when used for indoor projects.

Each can has a net weight of 11 ounces, with a stated coverage of approximately 20 square feet (about 1.9 square meters). It dries to the touch in about 1 hour and can be handled after 4 hours. Initial colors include Ruby Slippers, Icy Mist, and Cool Sand, primarily targeting home renovation, crafting, and small maintenance projects.
