The two parties will deepen strategic cooperation in the architectural coatings field, focusing on the two major directions of art coatings and old wall renovation, leveraging their respective advantages to promote the application of innovative material solutions and provide the market with more high-quality product choices.

One of the core aspects of this cooperation is the development of bio-based art coating products. Dow will participate in the construction of Fema's bio-based art coatings system from key raw material links such as emulsions, and the scope of cooperation between the two parties will further extend from existing material supply to product solution development and application. Fema's current product system covers art coatings, stone-like coatings, and renovation and refurbishment, among other directions. Its public information shows that some existing products already use Dow pure acrylic emulsion as a core raw material.

Old wall renovation is another key cooperation direction identified by both parties this time. Dow's existing solutions consist of combinations of emulsions, functional additives, and application technologies, mainly used for old wall renovation coating systems. According to the cooperation content disclosed by both parties, subsequent collaborative development will be carried out around the material systems and application performance of renovation products, covering building stock scenarios such as old residential buildings, rural self-built houses, and industrial plants.

Fema is an art coatings brand under Shengjia (Chengdu) Industrial Group. The group has already established a coatings production base in Qingbaijiang, Chengdu, with planned land use of approximately 150 mu, and its products cover categories such as art coatings, stone-like coatings, and renovation and refurbishment. After the signing of this memorandum, the cooperation between the two parties will continue to advance around bio-based materials, architectural coating formulations, and renovation application solutions.
