Navan completes NDC direct connection upgrade with Singapore Airlines, covering over 70% of bookings

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Travel management platform Navan has announced the completion of a direct connection upgrade for Singapore Airlines' NDC integration, adopting the airline's NDC 21.3 API built on the Amadeus Altéa platform. Currently, over 70% of Singapore Airlines bookings are completed through the NDC channel.

This direct connection is built on Navan's proprietary content aggregation platform. Navan stated that the deeper integration helps improve troubleshooting efficiency and lays the groundwork for future API enhancements and a more consistent shopping and servicing experience. The platform can access Singapore Airlines' rich NDC content, including exclusive fares, covering eligible corporate and private fares, and dynamic pricing offers; in markets where EDIFACT distribution fees apply, NDC bookings are exempt from such fees. Meanwhile, travelers can enjoy a wider range of fare options and ancillary services, such as preselected seats and prepaid excess baggage (where supported by the airline), and post-booking order changes, cancellations, and refunds will be handled more efficiently.

This upgrade further expands Navan's portfolio of direct NDC connections. The portfolio now includes SAS, Qantas, ITA Airways, and Emirates, with the Lufthansa Group having recently upgraded its services to NDC 24.1.
