en.Wedoany.com Reported - ABL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Polish marine shipbroker BMB to jointly provide marine warranty and offshore risk services in the Baltic Sea region, supporting the safe and efficient advancement of offshore energy projects in the area.

Under the agreement, ABL's operations in Poland will collaborate with BMB to deliver marine warranty and offshore risk services, assisting shipowners, operators, and offshore project stakeholders in identifying and mitigating operational risks prior to vessel mobilization. The scope of cooperation encompasses professional marine assurance services, including International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) surveys and inspections, aimed at providing safer and more efficient offshore operations support for the Baltic offshore energy industry.

Michal Zientarski, ABL's Country Manager for Poland, stated that ABL's presence in Poland and Germany enables rapid mobilization of local expertise while introducing the global standards and experience of its marine assurance team, helping BMB and its clients enhance confidence in vessel suitability, reduce operational risks, and ensure safe project delivery.

This collaboration is driven by the growing demand for marine warranty and offshore risk services in the Baltic Sea region, fueled by investments in offshore wind, marine infrastructure, and offshore energy development. By combining BMB's brokerage expertise with ABL's marine assurance capabilities, the partnership aims to support vessel operations throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Marcin Plichta, CEO of BMB, stated that demand in the Baltic offshore market extends beyond vessel tonnage, and the company continues to expand its service portfolio. Through collaboration with ABL, it can leverage global centers of expertise to deliver marine warranty and offshore risk services through a local partner.
