en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Daniels Corporation, in partnership with AltCrest Energy and Otter Energy Inc., has completed a 615-kilowatt (kW) DC community-scale solar photovoltaic system at the Daniels MPV2 project in Brampton, Ontario, providing on-site clean electricity to an all-electric, net-zero condominium townhouse community in the area.
Once operational, the project will generate clean electricity on-site for the community and deliver long-term electricity cost savings. The solar PV system operates under an Energy-as-a-Service model, owned by AltCrest Energy, with Otter Energy Inc. serving as the engineering, design, and construction partner responsible for system delivery.
MPV2 is the first phase of Daniels' 19-acre low-carbon master-planned community, located at the intersection of Bovaird Drive West and Mississauga Road.

The townhouse development consists of six back-to-back stacked townhouse buildings and one stacked townhouse building. Each building features copper-toned panels that visually echo the mid-rise condominium buildings within the community.
The west tower rises 11 storeys and the east tower rises 14 storeys, with the two towers connected by a single-storey pavilion that serves as a central meeting space. The pavilion provides direct access to shared indoor and outdoor amenities and elevators, and connects to the outdoor pedestrian walkways throughout the community.
