en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 14, Risen Energy and Ascania Energy, a Ukrainian new energy enterprise, held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Ninghai. The two parties reached strategic cooperation focusing on both photovoltaic and energy storage sectors, signing agreements for 100MW and 200MWh respectively. Both parties will fully leverage their respective advantages in product technology, intelligent manufacturing, project development, system integration, global delivery, and localized services to jointly promote the application of efficient and reliable solar-plus-storage solutions in the Ukrainian market.

Joining Hands to Expand Ukraine's New Energy Market

Currently, Ukraine's energy system faces multiple challenges, with growing demand for resilient energy infrastructure, distributed energy, and flexible energy consumption solutions. The coordinated application of solar and storage can increase clean electricity supply, enable surplus power storage and flexible regulation, and support stable energy consumption for business operations and infrastructure.

Ascania Energy is a comprehensive energy enterprise in Ukraine, with business covering project development, design, EPC, system integration, energy management and trading, as well as commercial and industrial electricity and natural gas supply. The company focuses on the integration of energy storage and renewable energy with commercial and industrial energy infrastructure. Ascania Energy is part of the Ascania Group, which has 30 years of cross-industry experience, providing project implementation, energy management, and technical support locally, facilitating the deployment of internationally advanced technologies and serving end customers.

As a globally leading new energy enterprise, Risen Energy has established a business layout covering PV modules, energy storage systems, inverters, and smart energy management, with comprehensive capabilities spanning technology R&D, product manufacturing, project delivery, and global services. As of the second quarter of 2026, the company's cumulative PV module shipments have exceeded 121.4GW, and cumulative global energy storage system shipments have exceeded 10GWh, with business covering more than 90 countries and regions worldwide, continuously providing green energy solutions for diverse markets and application scenarios.

Previously, Risen Energy has delivered 12 PV projects in Ukraine, including the 323MW Pokrovskaya PV power station, and has accumulated practical experience in product adaptation, project delivery, and local services. This cooperation will further integrate Risen Energy's product, manufacturing, and global supply capabilities with Ascania Energy's local market insights and project implementation capabilities, providing Ukrainian customers with more targeted solar-plus-storage solutions.

In-Depth Exchange: Product and Manufacturing Strength Supporting Cooperation

Prior to formalizing the cooperation, Yevgen Piatko, CEO and Co-owner of Ascania Energy, and Yehor Yarmolenko, CTO, along with their delegation, visited Risen Energy's intelligent factory on August 13. They gained first-hand insight into the production, testing, and quality management processes of Risen Energy's PV modules and energy storage systems, and exchanged views with the Risen Energy team on topics including product performance, project adaptation, delivery assurance, and localized services.

This PV cooperation primarily involves Risen Energy's Fuxi Pro heterojunction (HJT) high-efficiency modules. These products feature advantages such as high power output, high efficiency, high bifaciality, excellent low-light response, and low degradation, which can enhance installed capacity and full-lifecycle power generation value within limited land and installation space, providing efficient and reliable product options for large-scale ground-mounted power plants, commercial and industrial PV, and solar-plus-storage integration scenarios.

In the energy storage sector, both parties focused on Risen Energy's eTron series liquid-cooled energy storage systems. Designed for large-scale energy storage scenarios, these products integrate highly integrated design, liquid-cooled temperature control, safety protection, intelligent control, and O&M management capabilities, providing systematic support for renewable energy consumption, flexible grid regulation, and stable operation.

Envisioning the Future: Building a Long-Term Strategic Partnership

Yevgen Piatko, CEO and Co-owner of Ascania Energy, stated: "Ukraine needs to build a more distributed, flexible, and resilient energy system. Our strength lies in our business spanning the entire energy value chain, from engineering design and construction to energy management, trading, and direct supply to customers. Through cooperation with Risen Energy, we can combine mature and reliable technology with local implementation capabilities, ultimately serving the real energy needs of Ukrainian businesses."

Jie Rui Qin, General Manager of Risen Energy Europe, stated: "Risen Energy possesses comprehensive advantages in PV and energy storage products as well as global delivery, while Ascania Energy has in-depth local market insights, project implementation experience, and professional service capabilities. We look forward to closely combining both parties' strengths with Ukraine's actual needs, providing customers with more adaptable solar-plus-storage solutions and creating long-term value for the sustainable development of the local energy system."

In the future, the two parties will focus on the needs of the Ukrainian market, advancing PV and energy storage project development as well as product localization, technical training, and service system construction, deepening project and market synergy, and contributing to local clean energy development and enhanced power system resilience.
