en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 17, UK-based offshore engineering technology company Tekmar Group has secured an offshore wind contract valued at approximately €1 million to provide concrete cable protection solutions for a large offshore wind farm in Europe. The contract was awarded by a subsea cable contractor, with product delivery scheduled for completion within 2026.

Under the contract arrangement, Tekmar will be responsible for the design and manufacture of concrete protection and stabilization units. These units will be deployed along the wind farm's cable routes to protect and stabilize the cables, reducing the risk of displacement or damage caused by external forces during offshore installation and operation.

The awarding party is an existing customer of Tekmar, but has not previously procured concrete protection solutions from Tekmar. This order extends the existing business relationship between the two parties from other offshore asset protection products into the concrete protection segment. Tekmar has now entered the design, manufacturing, and delivery execution phase, with all contract work scheduled for completion within 2026.
