Canada's Thunder Gold Intersects 228.5-Meter Gold Zone

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 17, Thunder Gold reported drilling results from the extension hole TM21-107X at the Bench target of the Tower Mountain Gold Project in Canada. The hole intersected a continuous 228.5-meter gold mineralized zone with an average grade of 0.557 grams per tonne gold; when combined with the TM21-107 hole drilled in 2021, the mineralized interval extends to 340.4 meters with an average grade of 0.530 grams per tonne gold.

Hole TM21-107X entered the main mineralized zone at 209.5 meters downhole, including intervals of 7.3 meters averaging 1.788 grams per tonne gold, 2.2 meters averaging 2.015 grams per tonne gold, and 18.2 meters averaging 1.665 grams per tonne gold. As the hole did not fully penetrate the target mineralized body, the true thickness of the mineralized zone cannot yet be determined.

The extension hole is located approximately 300 meters east of the previous three drill holes. Thunder Gold interprets this as defining the eastern boundary of the core breccia–alteration mineralized zone at the Bench target. To date, the core mineralized area has been traced by drilling over approximately 75,000 to 100,000 square meters, extending to a maximum depth of about 600 meters below surface, with the deep extent still open.

The Tower Mountain Project currently hosts indicated resources of 34.5 million tonnes averaging 0.46 grams per tonne gold, containing 514,000 ounces of gold; and inferred resources of 211.1 million tonnes averaging 0.45 grams per tonne gold, containing 3.053 million ounces of gold. The company is adjusting its infill drilling layout based on these results, with two drill rigs on site continuing operations, and plans to complete the current drilling program by the end of September.
