en.Wedoany.com Reported - Águas de Portugal (AdP) continues to advance its fleet decarbonization strategy and expand its own electric vehicle charging network. This Tuesday, the group's company EPAL, together with Águas do Vale do Tejo (AdVT), launched a public tender for the construction of electric vehicle charging station infrastructure at its facilities, with a base amount of €2 million.

The tender is divided into three lots, with an expected execution period of two years. The first lot has a base amount of €800,000, covering AdVT's infrastructure in the Beiras and inland central regions; the second lot amounts to €450,000 for the company's facilities in Alentejo; the third lot has a base amount of €750,000, targeting EPAL and covering the western region and the central coastal area.

According to the tender documents reviewed by Jornal PT Green, a total of 139 chargers/devices will be installed across the various infrastructures managed by the two companies. The procurement is led by EPAL as the contracting entity, implemented jointly by both companies, with the notice indicating EPAL's participation share at 37.5% and AdVT's at 62.5%.

The notice also states that the project does not involve European funding and does not qualify as strategic public procurement. Price will be the sole award criterion, and the same bidder is allowed to win all three lots. Bids must be submitted by September 16, 2026.
