en.Wedoany.com Reported - Rusolovo Public Joint-Stock Company (Rusolovo, ПАО «Русолово») has launched the second stage of the Suluk—Pravo-Urmiyskoye highway. According to the plan, 26.8 km of road surface will be repaired and 53 culvert structures installed by the end of 2026, with the remaining three bridges and 16.7 km of road to be completed in 2027. Upon project completion, equipment transportation times will be further reduced, and the road capacity between the Suluk railway logistics terminal and the Pravourmiysky production complex will be improved.

The entire project encompasses the upgrade of 86 km of taiga roads, the construction of 27 bridges, and the installation of 110 culvert structures ranging from 1 to 3.5 meters in diameter. During the first stage, the company completed the upgrade of 40 km of roads, laid 57 pipes, and built 24 bridges, ensuring year-round vehicle access, including under challenging seasonal conditions such as autumn and spring floods.

All construction work is tailored to the harsh local climate conditions. Culvert structures are regarded as a mandatory standard for ensuring the durability of taiga road infrastructure. These structures allow meltwater and groundwater to pass unimpeded beneath the road surface, preserving the integrity of the earthen embankments in sections crossing streams and marshy areas. Effective drainage protects the road surface from seasonal frost heave and erosion, providing the necessary load-bearing capacity for year-round passage of heavy mining equipment, while minimizing interference with the natural hydrological regime of the forest.

Rusolovo Public Joint-Stock Company is Russia's leading tin mining enterprise with significant tin reserve potential. Tin production in concentrate amounted to 3,500 tonnes in 2025.
