Pacifica Silver Receives Permits for 491 New Drill Platforms in Mexico

(CSE: PSIL) announced that it has received environmental permits from Mexico's Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) for 491 additional drill platforms at its 100%-owned Claudia silver-gold project. The project is located in the historic El Papantón mining district in Durango State. Based on these permits, the Company has expanded its Phase 2 diamond drilling program from 20,000 meters to 30,000 meters and plans to mobilize a fourth drill rig on site by the end of August.

The 491 newly permitted drill platforms will significantly enhance the Company's operational flexibility and improve surface access to multiple existing and newly identified priority drill targets. The newly approved sites primarily cover high-priority target areas in the northern extensions of the Aguilareña and Guadalupana veins, as well as the HL vein and Santiaguera vein targets in the eastern part of the project. Upon arrival of the fourth drill rig, drilling intensity will be strengthened in the Aguilareña north extension area, where the Company has identified a mineralized body with consistent grade.

Pacifica Silver CEO Todd Anthony stated: "Receiving permits for 491 new drill platforms is a significant operational milestone for Pacifica Silver, greatly expanding our capacity to advance resource definition drilling."The Company plans to accelerate geological data generation, targeting an initial resource estimate for the Claudia project by 2027.

The Phase 2 drilling program commenced in mid-January 2026 and is fully funded. As of August 19, the Company has completed 79 drill holes totaling 18,258 meters, representing approximately 61% of the expanded 30,000-meter program. The remaining approximately 11,742 meters of drilling is expected to continue through the end of 2026.

The Claudia silver-gold project covers 11,876 hectares, encompassing most of the El Papantón mining district, where at least nine small mines operated intermittently during the 20th century. This permit award follows a previous approval of 153 drill platforms in February 2026, marking another significant expansion.
