U.S. Nextpower Secures Utility-Scale Solar eBOS Patent

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nextpower, a U.S. clean power technology solutions provider, recently received U.S. Patent No. 12,712,292, covering its NX PowerMerge DC collection eBOS solution for utility-scale solar power plants.

The NX PowerMerge aggregates power from multiple solar string circuits into a larger cross-section trunk conductor through a single trunk cable connection point. The system is equipped with installation tools that verify connection pressure during installation and features a connector body compatible with different trunk cable sizes. Nextpower's eBOS product portfolio also includes trunk bus DC collection methods and combiner box DC collection methods for utility-scale solar installations.

Nextpower also announced it has been awarded a project by BUILD Renewables involving the application of NX PowerMerge eBOS products in utility-scale solar projects. This collaboration increases NX PowerMerge's backlog to over 2 gigawatts.
