Disney Cruise Line Announces 2027-2028 Itineraries, Returning to New York
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Disney Cruise Line has announced its deployment plans from fall 2027 through spring 2028, with multiple ships covering homeports including New York, San Juan, Port Canaveral, San Diego, Galveston, and Singapore, along with new first-time ports of call along the Panama Canal and a new stop in Langkawi, Malaysia.

Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line operations, said the company is excited to return to New York Harbor, debut first-time stops in Panama, and continue expanding its itinerary coverage across the Caribbean and beyond as the fleet grows.
After concluding its inaugural European season, the Disney Wish will arrive in New York in late September 2027, marking its first return to the city since 2023. The Wish will operate seven special sailings ranging from four to seven nights, allowing guests to begin their vacations from the "city that never sleeps." Five of these sailings will call at the pink-sand beaches of Bermuda, with three voyages extending the port time to a full day, giving families more time to experience the island nation's rich culture and scenery. The Wish will also sail from New York to the Atlantic coasts of New England and Canada for the first time in nearly four years, calling at Boston, Massachusetts; St. John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia, in late autumn.
In fall 2027 and spring 2028, Disney Cruise Line will extend port times at featured destinations, add more departures from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and offer repositioning cruises, with select Panama Canal itineraries featuring multiple first-time ports of call. These repositioning cruises provide guests with more days at sea to enjoy the signature entertainment and services onboard. The Wish will depart New York on a five-night sailing, calling at Bermuda before arriving in San Juan; it will then operate seven-night Southern Caribbean itineraries from San Juan, calling at Aruba, St. Maarten, Bonaire, and Dominica, followed by a four-night repositioning cruise to Port Canaveral, Florida, with stops at Disney Cruise Line's two island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The Disney Fantasy will sail from San Juan in fall 2027 and spring 2028. In December 2027, the Fantasy will offer seven-night Southern Caribbean and five-night Eastern Caribbean itineraries, ending in Fort Lauderdale; it will return from late April through May 2028 for two seven-night Southern Caribbean sailings, calling at Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados, and Antigua.
The Disney Magic will operate two Panama Canal repositioning cruises in fall 2027 and spring 2028. In November 2027, the Magic will depart San Diego, California, on a 14-night eastbound voyage to Galveston, Texas, making its first-ever call at Fuerte Amador, Panama (Panama City). The following March, the Magic will depart Galveston on a 14-night westbound Panama Canal voyage returning to San Diego, with a first-time call at Colon, Panama.
Beginning in November 2027, three Wish-class ships will be deployed at Port Canaveral, giving family guests more Disney magic at sea near Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney Destiny will homeport at Port Canaveral for the first time, offering three- to seven-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean itineraries; before repositioning to Port Canaveral, the Destiny will operate its fall 2027 season from Fort Lauderdale, offering three- to five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean sailings with dining and entertainment themed around heroes and villains, perfect for the whole family. After completing its New York and San Juan itineraries, the Wish will homeport at Port Canaveral for three- to four-night Bahamas sailings, calling at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. The Disney Treasure will continue offering seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, calling at Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and Falmouth, Jamaica, along with one eight-night Eastern Caribbean sailing and one six-night Bahamas sailing, the latter featuring two calls at Disney Castaway Cay. The Disney Dream will depart Port Canaveral on three- to four-night Bahamas itineraries, and after repositioning to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027, will offer three- to five-night Bahamas sailings plus one six-night voyage, with the six-night sailing calling twice at Disney Castaway Cay, giving guests more time to enjoy the island's white-sand beaches, family recreation areas, and underwater-themed Disney treasures.
The Fantasy will operate four- to five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral from September through November 2027, then reposition to San Juan for two sailings before moving to Fort Lauderdale, where it will offer four- to seven-night Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean itineraries for the remainder of the season. From Fort Lauderdale, the Fantasy will also debut an eight-night Bermuda voyage, with stops at Disney's two Bahamian island destinations.
Through early November 2027, two ships—the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder—will depart from San Diego on three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera itineraries. The Wonder will then continue operating from San Diego through the fall 2027 and spring 2028 seasons, offering three- to seven-night sailings with calls at Ensenada, Mexico; Cabo San Lucas; and Catalina Island, California. After completing its eastbound Panama Canal voyage, the Magic will return to Galveston, offering four- to seven-night family itineraries, with select seven-night Bahamas sailings calling at both Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay, giving Texas guests more ways to experience Disney.
The Disney Adventure will continue to homeport in Singapore, offering new three- to four-night itineraries from September through December 2027, bringing families Broadway-style entertainment and the guest service Disney Cruise Line is renowned for. Select sailings beginning December 31, 2026, will add a new port of call at Langkawi, Malaysia, allowing guests to explore the island's lush rainforests and picturesque coastline ashore.
Beginning in September 2027, select sailings will feature Halloween on the High Seas, with spooky fun from ship to shore as Disney characters don frightful costumes, along with special entertainment, deck parties, and even trick-or-treating at sea. In November and December of the same year, Very Merrytime holiday cruises return, with festive decorations adorning the ship's decks and corridors, offering families activities such as Christmas tree lighting, special deck parties, seasonal treats, and visits from Santa Claus. Select Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members can book early starting August 31, 2026, with general booking opening September 8.
