China's Henggang High-Speed Railway Begins Joint Commissioning and Testing
en.Wedoany.com Reported - At 9:00 a.m. on August 29, inspection train No. 55466 departed from Cangzhou West Station, marking the commencement of the joint commissioning and testing phase for the Henggang High-Speed Railway.
According to the head of the Science, Technology and Information Department of China Railway Beijing Group, the joint commissioning and testing for the Henggang High-Speed Railway is planned to be completed within 70 days. During this period, professional inspection trains, comprehensive inspection trains, test EMUs, and related testing equipment will be used to conduct comprehensive tests on the railway line, evaluating and verifying the functions of systems such as traction power supply, overhead contact lines, communications, signaling, passenger services, and disaster monitoring; verifying the suitability of structural works including track, turnouts, subgrade, and bridges; and assessing whether equipment such as integrated earthing and electromagnetic environments meet standard requirements. This will provide technical support for the commissioning and optimization of each operational system and the overall system, enabling the line's functions to meet design requirements.
To ensure the smooth progress of the joint commissioning and testing, the Shijiazhuang Electric Locomotive Depot of China Railway Beijing Group has carried out comprehensive special training for all 87 cadres and employees involved in the joint commissioning and testing, ensuring that personnel are fully qualified and highly capable. The Cangzhou Train Operation Depot has strengthened personnel training and conducted rigorous "screening" assessments for emergency duty personnel to enhance their professional competence. The Hengshui Track Maintenance Section has focused on special inspections and rectifications of equipment such as tracks, turnouts, bridges, and culverts, continuously improving line quality. The Hengshui Train Operation Depot has dispatched cadres from professional departments to station posts for on-site monitoring, ensuring the safe advancement of the joint commissioning and testing.
Since construction of the Henggang High-Speed Railway began in July 2020, the Shijiazhuang Engineering Project Management Department of China Railway Beijing Group has coordinated and organized all participating units, including design, consulting, construction, and supervision parties, strengthened coordination between railway and local authorities, and successively overcome numerous challenges such as the relocation of power, telecommunications, and signal lines, construction on existing lines, and the complex conditions of hub integration. During the project construction process, standardized management has been promoted, with technological innovation empowering new quality productive forces and making every effort to build a premium high-speed railway project. To date, the line has successfully completed static acceptance and hot-running tests, with all facilities and equipment operating stably, and it is now ready to commence joint commissioning and testing.
The Henggang High-Speed Railway connects Hengshui City with Huanghua Port, with a main line spanning 224 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Along the route, it passes through multiple stations including Hengshui North Station, Cangzhou West Station, and Huanghua Port Station. Once the line enters operation, the Henggang High-Speed Railway will connect Hengshui City to Shijiazhuang City via the Shijiazhuang–Jinan Passenger Dedicated Line, effectively shortening travel time from Huanghua Port, Cangzhou City, and surrounding areas to Shijiazhuang City. This is of great significance for facilitating travel for residents along the route, improving the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei railway network, and promoting the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
