Excelitas Launches VeriCure Lite Industrial UV LED Curing System

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Excelitas Technologies has launched the Phoseon VeriCure Lite series of UV LED curing systems, targeting production scenarios such as wide-format printing, industrial coatings, wood processing, metal finishing, and flooring manufacturing. As a newly added low-power tier to the VeriCure platform, VeriCure Lite delivers 48 watts per 25 mm of output power, approximately 50% of the 95 watts of the standard version, while retaining the same mechanical platform, cooling architecture, and control system.

VeriCure Lite offers five standard emitting window lengths: 750 mm, 900 mm, 1050 mm, 1200 mm, and 1350 mm, all with an emitting width of 20 mm, and can be configured with three wavelengths: 365 nm, 395 nm, and 405 nm. The system achieves irradiation uniformity of better than ±10% across the curing area. The Lite version uses 150 mm independently controlled zones, allowing the actual irradiation area to be adjusted according to workpiece dimensions and irregular substrate shapes.

The control system supports analog, Modbus TCP/IP, OmniCure AC Series compatible protocols, and the Phoseon CLIP protocol, enabling integration into new production lines or existing curing equipment. The device features instant on/off, output power adjustment, and zone control, and is equipped with Excelitas high-efficiency cooling technology; the unit achieves IP66 protection rating, with an optional secondary protective glass assembly.

Compared with traditional mercury vapor UV curing systems, this series can reduce energy consumption by up to 60%, requires no consumable lamp replacements during operation, and eliminates mercury- and ozone-related operational elements. The equipment can start and stop the LED array according to production takt time, and the zone control function allows zones not involved in curing the current workpiece to remain off.

The VeriCure platform currently comprises two power tiers: Standard and Lite. The standard version uses 75 mm independently controlled zones, while the Lite version expands a single control zone to 150 mm, with the two versions covering different UV dose requirements. The new series was exhibited in September at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago, USA, and is now available through Excelitas' global sales network.
