en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 23, Luoyang Bearing Group Co., Ltd. announced that its board of directors had approved two external investment proposals, with a total planned investment of RMB 770 million to build a project for the development and production capacity improvement of high-reliability civil aviation bearings, as well as a project for the development and industrialization of bearings for high-speed rail, standard metro, and standard intercity trains. Both projects have a construction period of 3 years, and both will be located within the company's existing plant area at No. 96 Jianshe Road, Jianxi District, Luoyang City. The relevant investment matters still need to be submitted to the company's shareholders' meeting for review.

Among them, the high-reliability civil aviation bearing project has a total investment of RMB 389.36 million. It plans to develop bearing products for civil aviation engines and civil aircraft airframes, and to equip them with high-precision processing, testing, and dedicated test equipment and production lines, while also improving the test verification platform. After the project is completed, it will form an annual production capacity of approximately 140,000 sets of high-reliability civil aviation bearings, with products intended for civil aviation equipment such as domestically produced large aircraft, regional airliners, and helicopters.

The rail transit bearing project has a total investment of RMB 381 million. It plans to optimize and upgrade the existing intelligent production line for high-speed railway bearings, raising the applicable speed level from below 250 km/h to 250–350 km/h, and at the same time build intelligent production lines for metro and intercity train axle box bearings, rail transit gearbox bearings, and traction motor bearings. After the project is completed, it is expected to form an annual production scale of approximately 480,000 sets of bearings, to be used in rail transit equipment such as high-speed EMUs, standard metro trains, and intercity express rail.

The company's 26th meeting of the first board of directors reviewed and approved the above two investment proposals on September 22. According to the board resolution, the company plans to hold its fourth extraordinary shareholders' meeting of 2026 on October 9 to review the relevant matters.
