en.Wedoany.com Reported - Egypt's Ministry of Industry witnessed the launch and delivery of the country's first locally developed industrial robot. The robot was developed by Egyptian robotics company RaedBots, in collaboration with Egypt's Industrial Modernization Center (IMC) and local equipment manufacturer CUBII Industrial Solutions. The current localization rate has reached 80%, with a target of 90% once the main motor is locally manufactured. The equipment has been developed for real industrial scenarios and has begun to be integrated into CUBII's packaging machinery.

CUBII mainly produces automatic food filling and packaging equipment and customized industrial automation systems, with products targeting markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. The robot will first be used in packaging machinery and production line automation. Egypt's Ministry of Industry will continue to track the equipment's performance in actual factory environments, including stability, production efficiency, and compatibility with existing equipment.

RaedBots mainly develops industrial robotic arms and automation systems, with the company independently developing the related robot software and hardware. In conjunction with this equipment launch, RaedBots also signed a robot supply cooperation agreement with CUBII to subsequently supply industrial robots for packaging equipment; it also cooperates with Egypt's Industrial Modernization Center to provide automation technology support for local industrial enterprises, and collaborates with the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University to supply educational robots for robotics research and engineering training.

This project directly combines industrial robot research and development with local packaging machinery manufacturing. As core components such as motors are further localized, RaedBots plans to continue increasing the proportion of locally manufactured complete machines and expand the application of robots in packaging, handling, and other production line automation processes.
