Swiss company Bystronic releases sheet metal processing automation solution covering laser cutting and bending

en.Wedoany.com Reported - In September, Swiss sheet metal processing equipment manufacturer Bystronic announced its exhibition plan for EuroBLECH 2026, and will present a networked automation system covering laser cutting, bending, tube processing, material handling, and production software from October 20 to 23 in Hanover, Germany. The solution focuses on connecting standalone machines, automated loading and unloading, sorting, storage, and production management software into a continuous production process, helping sheet metal processing companies reduce manual intervention and equipment waiting time.

In the laser cutting segment, Bystronic will showcase a complete cutting cell consisting of the ByCut 3015 laser cutting machine, the ByTrans Modular automated loading and unloading system, the BySort sorting system, and the ByTower Cross material storage system. Starting from raw material supply, the system can continuously complete sheet loading, laser cutting, finished product sorting, and material storage, integrating multiple previously independent production steps into an automated production line. The entire system adopts a modular configuration, allowing the scale of automation to be adjusted according to factory output and workshop layout.

In the bending segment, the newly added Xpert Pro Midsize Bending Cell automated bending cell features the Xpert Pro 150/2050 Extended bending machine as its core equipment and integrates a conveyor system to extend unmanned operating time. Bystronic has also upgraded the Xpert Pro 150 bending equipment by adding a sliding worktable, an auxiliary display, a handwheel, and the Servo Dynamic function, while continuing to equip it with a laser angle measurement system and dynamic deflection compensation technology to improve dimensional accuracy and stability during the bending of complex sheet metal parts.

In tube processing, Bystronic will present the ByTube Star 330 automated tube laser processing system. This equipment can continuously process tubes and open profiles and integrates drilling, tapping, marking, and 3D cutting into the same production process, reducing workpiece transfer and changeover time between different machines.

The entire set of equipment will also be connected to the BySoft Suite software platform, linking quoting, production planning, programming, and manufacturing execution, and obtaining production and equipment operation data through digital services and equipment management systems.
