Ecopetrol Expects Third-Quarter Net Profit of Up to US$1.57 Billion

Revenue for the same period is expected to be 33 trillion to 36 trillion pesos, equivalent to approximately US$10.36 billion to US$11.3 billion.

The company expects third-quarter EBITDA of 14 trillion to 16.5 trillion pesos, with a margin of 42% to 46%. Capital expenditure for the same period is expected to be US$1.644 billion to US$1.999 billion, total quarterly cash is expected to be 15 trillion to 18 trillion pesos, and the balance of the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund is expected to be 10 trillion to 12 trillion pesos.

Oil and gas production data are expected to show growth. Average daily production in the third quarter is expected to reach 740,000 to 750,000 barrels of oil equivalent, up from 705,800 barrels of oil equivalent in the second quarter. Oil and gas transportation volume for the same period is expected to be 1.069 million to 1.112 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, and refinery throughput is expected to be 405,000 to 420,000 barrels per day.

In terms of price indicators, the company's estimated average Brent crude price for the third quarter is US$91 per barrel, the average price of its crude oil sales basket is expected to be US$80 to US$84 per barrel, and the average refining margin is expected to be US$39 to US$47 per barrel.
