en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 27, mining company Liberty Gold announced that it has finalized two key long-lead equipment procurement contracts for the Black Pine oxide gold project in Idaho, USA, covering power transformers and the gold adsorption—desorption—recovery (ADR) plant and refinery equipment. The company has signed manufacturing contracts with equipment suppliers to secure production slots for the relevant equipment, while advancing detailed design of mine infrastructure, the processing system, and heap leach facilities.

Power equipment will be designed and manufactured by Nexus Power of Utah, USA, with the scope of supply including the power transformers required for the project. Gold recovery and refining equipment will be supplied by CGS Associates, which will design and manufacture the ADR plant and refinery equipment package. Both contracts were awarded through competitive procurement processes, and equipment manufacturing will be scheduled for delivery to align with project construction requirements.

Engineering design is being advanced jointly by M3 Engineering & Technology and NewFields. M3 is responsible for detailed design of the ADR plant, refinery facilities, and supporting infrastructure, including maintenance facilities, laboratory, administrative buildings, power systems, and utilities; detailed design of infrastructure and the processing system is currently approximately 5% complete. NewFields is responsible for detailed design of the heap leach facilities, which is currently approximately 15% complete.

Procurement of mining equipment has also entered the supplier selection stage. Liberty Gold has received quotations from equipment suppliers and is conducting technical and commercial evaluations with the support of three independent specialized consulting firms. The project plans to complete detailed design and construction drawings in the third quarter of 2027, with construction targeted to begin in the first half of 2028, subject to project approvals and a formal construction decision.
