Scottie Resources of Canada Intersects High-Grade Mineralization of 83.8 g/t at Gold Project
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 28, Canadian mining company Scottie Resources released assay results from the third batch of drilling in 2026 at its Scottie Gold Project in British Columbia, reporting a new near-surface gold-bearing vein at the Blueberry Contact Zone. Drill hole SR26-491 intersected 3.10 meters grading 17.2 g/t gold from a depth of 11.20 meters, while nearby hole SR26-503 intersected 1.60 meters grading 83.8 g/t gold at the Road 1 vein.

The new discovery is located in the Road mineralized trend. The 3.10-meter interval in hole SR26-491 includes a high-grade sub-interval of 1.10 meters grading 45.1 g/t gold. Combined with visible mineralization observed in nearby holes, the company interprets this as a new gold-bearing vein situated within the open-pit shell proposed in the 2025 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) but outside the area covered by the existing mineral resource block model. The high-grade interval in nearby hole SR26-503 occurs between 77.50 and 79.10 meters downhole depth.
Additional high-grade results were returned from other holes in the Blueberry mineralized trend. Hole SR26-526 intersected 7.00 meters grading 23.1 g/t gold at the Blueberry 3 vein, including 2.10 meters grading 72.9 g/t gold, which in turn includes a higher-grade sub-interval of 1.00 meter grading 138 g/t. The same hole also returned 6.00 meters grading 23.1 g/t gold at the Blueberry 5 vein, including 3.00 meters grading 38.3 g/t gold. Hole SR26-532 returned a further 5.75 meters grading 12.4 g/t gold at the Blueberry 3 vein.
Drilling in the Fifi mineralized trend extended high-grade mineralization below the existing PEA underground stope model. Hole SR26-532 intersected 5.60 meters grading 20.6 g/t gold at the Fifi 2 vein, including 3.30 meters grading 33.5 g/t gold; hole SR26-497 returned a separate interval of 2.00 meters grading 57.6 g/t gold. The vein remains open at depth, and the deep mineralization data from this drilling program will be incorporated into future resource evaluations.
The Scottie Gold Project is located approximately 35 kilometers north of Stewart, British Columbia. The 2026 drilling program has been completed, with 227 holes drilled for a total of 61,578 meters; assay results for more than 85% of the year's samples are still pending. The company plans to update its mineral resource estimate and complete a feasibility study in the first half of 2027, with the new estimate expected to incorporate approximately 90,000 meters of drilling data added since the initial resource estimate in 2025. All mineralized interval lengths reported herein are drill core intercepts; true thickness of the mineralized bodies remains to be determined.
