en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 28, Noatum Logistics, the logistics division of AD Ports Group, announced that its cross-border truck fleet in the Gulf Cooperation Council region has doubled to more than 850 vehicles. The additional vehicles were delivered in batches over the past six months, all compliant with Euro 5 emission standards, and have been integrated into regional operations.

Noatum Logistics has linked the expanded truck fleet with the rail shuttle service connecting Khalifa Port and Fujairah Terminals. The two transport modes complement each other in terms of cargo volume, capacity and transit time requirements, forming a transport route that connects UAE industrial centers with regional sea and air hubs via a bonded land corridor. This combination has been put into actual use during recent regional disruptions, rather than remaining merely at the planning stage.

Each new truck is equipped with GPS tracking and connected to a centralized control tower, providing real-time visibility into fleet performance, transport status and asset utilization. This architecture enables cross-border transport to be dispatched centrally by the control tower rather than relying on decentralized management at individual sites, directly serving transit time and in-transit status management for cross-border land transport.

Noatum Logistics positions this expansion as growing its owned fleet rather than relying on subcontracted capacity, making cross-border land transport an in-house operational capability. This shift corresponds to a transfer of transport responsibility from "organizing external capacity" to "execution by owned vehicles," rather than a mere increase in the number of vehicles.
