Wedoany.com Report-Oct. 9, Recently, the first session of the “Kaiming Science Popularization” brand tour was launched at Qiliyan Primary School in Erqi District. Wu Shuilin, President of the Henan Democratic Progressive Entrepreneurs Association and Chairman of Quanshun Flow Control, participated throughout the event. The activity was hosted by the Henan Provincial Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy (CAPD) and jointly organized by several institutions, including the Henan Democratic Progressive Entrepreneurs Association.

Focusing on “inspiring scientific interest and cultivating innovative spirit,” the event invited expert teams in science popularization from the Henan Meteorological Bureau, Henan Science and Technology Museum, Henan Museum of Natural History, Henan Academy of Sciences, and Zhengzhou Science and Technology Museum. They designed interdisciplinary scientific content, allowing students to experience the charm of science up close. Through interactive classrooms and experimental demonstrations, the activity brought students an immersive scientific experience.

At the opening ceremony, Zhu Tonghui, Vice Chairperson of the Henan Provincial Committee of the CAPD and a first-level inspector, delivered a speech. She emphasized that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s statement that “scientific and technological innovation and science popularization are two wings of innovative development” has provided clear guidance for science communication efforts. Zhu introduced that the Henan Provincial Committee of the CAPD has long been committed to educational public welfare. The “Kaiming Action” series of brand programs has so far donated over 400 reading rooms, more than 700,000 books, and provided training for over 6,000 teachers. The launch of the “Kaiming Science Popularization” brand further promotes the delivery of high-quality science education resources to local communities through a mechanism of “party-led coordination + institutional collaboration + expert participation,” helping to enhance scientific literacy among young people.
