Wedoany.com Report-Dec.1, Wipro has signed a multi-year strategic agreement with Odido Netherlands to lead a comprehensive AI-driven modernisation of the Dutch telecommunications company's entire IT environment. The initiative covers both consumer and business operations, focusing on automation, system reliability, and enhanced digital capabilities.

Wipro will implement its WEGA and WINGS AI platforms, part of the Wipro Intelligence Suite, to drive enhancements at Odido.

The partnership operates on a self-funded basis, where efficiency gains and cost reductions achieved through the transformation will be redirected into additional technology investments. Wipro will deploy its WEGA and WINGS AI platforms, part of the Wipro Intelligence suite, to strengthen service performance, streamline IT operations, and improve incident response across Odido's infrastructure.

Robert Purdy, Chief IT Officer of Odido Netherlands, stated: "At Odido, our goal is to make technology more human. Everything we do is driven by a human-centric approach. This applies not only to our network services and product innovations, but also to our processes, operations, and IT infrastructure."

Key elements of the project include the introduction of an advanced conversational AI chat system offering multilingual, context-aware self-service options for customers. Wipro will also apply its experience-led studio methodology, managed through its Designit division, integrating design, engineering, and development teams to accelerate solution delivery while addressing user requirements from the earliest stages.

Graziella Neuvéglise, Managing Director for Wipro Western Europe, commented: "Odido's trust in Wipro reflects our ability to deliver strategic value through intelligent operations, agile development, and a future-ready IT strategy. This transformation is consulting-led, with our teams shaping the roadmap, optimizing processes, and aligning technology with business goals."

The collaboration draws on Wipro's global innovation network, which connects laboratories, start-ups, academic institutions, and technology partners to solve complex enterprise challenges.

In a separate development, Wipro announced in August 2025 an agreement to acquire the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit from Harman, a subsidiary of Samsung. Upon completion, the DTS unit will be incorporated into Wipro's Engineering Global Business Line, further expanding the company's capabilities in digital engineering and customer-experience solutions.

The Odido engagement reinforces Wipro's position as a key partner for large-scale telecommunications transformations in Europe, combining AI platforms, human-centred design, and operational expertise to support long-term business objectives and improved service quality for end users. Implementation will proceed in phases, with ongoing reinvestment ensuring continuous advancement of Odido’s technology landscape.
